Shipping and Courier Delivery

From Monday through Saturday, we offer Rapid Local Courier Delivery by Trexity (no holidays). Choose the day you want to receive the order, and we will dispatch it on that day, if you want. Make sure someone is on hand to take the order.

Orders are dispatched via overnight couriers to ensure that our products arrive in the best possible condition if Local Courier Delivery is not an option. The suggested option will be the least expensive one you have.
Depending on the delivery option you choose, Purolator or UPS will provide you with a tracking number so you may follow the progress of your item once it ships. Regardless of the date chosen, all Purolator and UPS shipping choices are typically shipped out Monday through Wednesday. Orders placed after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or on a holiday will be shipped out on the following working day.

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Kindly follow up on your orders. Once the shipment has been prepared you will receive a tracking number (via email or local phone number) to a courier. We are not responsible for packages that have been marked as delivered and go missing or stolen. Always provide a safe (and preferably not in a sun) spot for the courier to leave your package.

How to store chocolates

Since they are made with fresh ingredients, our bonbons should be consumed within two weeks after purchase if stored at a cool room temperature (20°C). In an airtight container or tightly wrapped in order to prevent condensation, they can be kept for up to a month in the refrigerator.

Remember that your chocolate's lustre, finish, flavour, and quality can all be impacted by improper handling when it is kept in a regular refrigerator.

Consume the bonbons once they've gotten used to room temperature to enjoy them to the fullest.

About Refunds and Returns

Every chocolate that leaves Chocovalley is guaranteed to be in great shape. Nevertheless, because our products are perishable, we are unable to accept returns or arrange swaps. Chocovalley disclaims liability for any broken or melted goods.

To ensure that our chocolate products are delivered in perfect condition, we partner with one of the best delivery services in downtown Toronto.

However, we cannot be held liable for products that are spoiled due to weather-related delays, carrier mechanical failure, other acts beyond our control, or incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer on the original web order.

Do you prepare your own chocolate?

Yes, we prepare our own chocolate in small batches from cocoa beans from Peru for special signature bonbon.

Do all the chocolates prepare from bean to bar?

Not all our chocolates are from bean to bar. As a small company, we cannot afford to purchase pricey machinery to turn a huge quantity of cocoa beans into chocolate.

We showcase the finest chocolate made with Peruvian cocoa beans mostly (90%) from Fair-trade certified. We also make a special effort to create our own unique chocolate in small quantities using Peruvian cocoa beans from Maranon Valley (Fortunato Farm). You can check the description in each of our products to see which kind of chocolate are we using or if it is made from bean to bar.

Why the delivery is so expensive?

We care about our products and service and we strongly believe that partnering with an excellent delivery service will guarantee that our products are delivered in the perfect conditions to our customers, thus creating an amazing tasting experience.

What is Fair-trade?

For manufacturers in underdeveloped countries, a fair trade agreement strives to promote fair and long-lasting economic ties. Increased export pricing along with stricter social and environmental criteria are combined by the fair trade movement. This means that when you purchase our products, we promise that Peruvian cacao farmers are adequately compensated for their excellent cacao beans.
